Lenin's Tomb is Empty!

It has always been so, but for many years it contained a dead body made up to look real and alive. It was the great metaphor for Soviet Socialism. Dead but made to look alive.

Before Perestroika, lines of worshipful Russians and Communists from various conquered countries stood in the rain, snow and cold weather to walk solemnly through the tomb. Why did they do that?
Because they loved Lenin? No.
Because they wanted to honor this evil man? No.
Because they wanted to be seen and listed as having been there? Yes!

The former Soviet Republics are still suffering from 70 years of oppression but God is on the move. The Red Guards of China fanatically wiped out all religions except Maoism. Many, many millions were slaughtered to force people to forget Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism and so forth. However, Christianity prospered and now a great revival is sweeping China to fill the spiritual vacuum.

Could that happen in Russia and Europe? Let us pray that it will be so. Posted by Picasa
