Motivating Employees

In my last post I mentioned one of the reasons why so few ordinary people trust therapists comes from our "Highly Exalted Demeanor" and lack of understanding the common person's life. The fact that many if not most of our current politicians and highest officers in corporations are experts in theory with little practical experience also explains why the disease of therapists has spread widely to other fields.

An interesting article in the Knowledge @ Wharton electronic newsletter about motivating employees by actually getting to know them and their work. What an interesting concept as opposed to treating employees as robots and strangers.
